There is only one part in this film that has a cat (hence the .5 quantity rating), but the way cats are treated is a doozy. The cat is seen as brave, not at all afraid of the mummy that has tormented the heroes and villains alike. Its courage is well-founded: The mummy of the movie fears cats, and runs at the sight of it. This could leave a cat fan wondering: Why, then, don’t they just surround themselves with cats? This would improve the film’s cat quality by far, and improve their chances of making it to the end of the movie. (This brilliant idea is not used in the film, leaving it with a 2.25 over all.)
